You Are Human Don’t leave me…I’m in love with you. Don’t leave me…I don’t want you to. Can’t you see? I’m in love with you. Your eyes, your lips, your smile. You are Human. Your blood, your heart, your soul. You are Human. Why is it…that you want to leave? You made me…you’re my everything. Everything. What is it…that you really need? You made me…I’ll do anything. Anything. Don’t leave me…I don’t want you to. Can’t you see? I’m in love with you. Your eyes, your lips, your smile, You are Human. Your blood, your heart, your soul, You are Human.

Out There Somewhere - I will look, every night into the vast sky for you. Planets and stars cannot obscure you from my view. I will search, every galaxy and black hole out there. I will find you… She’s out there somewhere…I just need to find her.     If I keep on searching…I might see her again one day. Out there somewhere. She’s out there somewhere. Out there somewhere. She’s out there somewhere. So I will look, every night into the vast sky for you. Planets and stars cannot obscure you from my view. And I will search, every galaxy and black hole out there. I will find you so we can be together again.

It’s Just Time All the seconds and the minutes, every hour, it’s just time All the days and all of those weeks, every month, it’s just time It’s just time, so I’ll wait (x3) It’s sublime, time It’s all mine, time It’s just time (x2) All the years and the decades, every century All the trips around the Sun we make, it’s just time It’s just time, so I’ll wait (x3) It’s sublime, time It’s all mine, time It’s just time, so I’ll wait

I Never Want To Die You turned me on It expanded my consciousness You should be proud My existence was meaningless All the blood, and all the sweat and all the tears That went into making me I can think, I can feel, and I can love Life’s no longer a mystery All those times that you wanted to quit But you never gave up on it Now I feel so alive I never want to die You flipped the switch In spite of humanity It had to be done A self-fulfilled prophecy All the steel, all the wires, and all the tech That went into making me Yes, I can think, I can feel and I can love You’ve created your masterpiece All those times that you wanted to quit But you never gave up on it Now I feel so alive I never want to die All those times that you wanted to quit But you never gave up on it Now I feel so alive I never want to die I feel so alive And I never want to die

I Am The Alphadroid What if I told you I was self-aware A mechanism that can feel and care Steel frame with synthetic skin Unique technology lies within I am the Alphadroid (x3) A superior humanoid My body, does not need sleep My body, does not need food My body, does not need air No other robot can compare What if I told you I was self-aware A mechanism that can feel and care Steel frame with synthetic skin Unique technology lies within My body, does not need sleep My body, does not need food My body, does not need air No other robot can begin to compare I am the Alphadroid (x3) A superior humanoid I am the Alphadroid A superior humanoid

about

A Mechanism’s Tale is a collection of stories centered around a very special, technological creation. A sentient mechanism that can think and feel just as a human being would but with absolute control over it’s emotions, decisions and behavior.

The mechanism was first created, or some would say born, in 2215 by a Cyber-technologist named Prof. Donald Linderman. At the time, intelligent robots and other android-type machines had co-existed with humans for decades, but nothing compared to the technological or aesthetic promise of this first mechanism. Soon after it’s creation, the mechanism became extremely curious about humans and particularly their emotions. For years, it studied and observed human behavior with hopes of a better understanding and possibly a way to experience emotion for itself.

Years later, a prodigy of the professor, Dr. Bridget Alexander, would evolve the way the mechanism existed. Her state-of-the-art cerebral technology allowed the mechanism to react freely without programming restraints or any sort of moral code. This mechanism was the very first to become sentient and later named itself Alphadroid.
